A client in Totterdown, Bristol asked us to create an etched glass house number for the transom above their front door.
They required their house number & a thin clear border, and the glass to be made into a double glazed unit.
We supplied the customer with a few font options & when they were happy went about cutting the vinyls…
Vinyls were applied to the reverse of the glass… we do this so the etched side will be inside the double glazed unit. This will keep the etch clean from day to day grime.
The glass was then sandblasted & delivered to out glazing team.
We fitted the new units into the original wooden transom frame using putty & new beading to compensate for the thicker unit.
