Cutlines Glass were asked to make a fused glass splash back for the bathroom of a private residence in Bristol.
The client wanted a water theme with colours to match those already used in the rest of the decor…. once a design was decided, colours were picked & we set about cutting each piece ready to fuse.
When each piece was cut & cleaned the whole thing goes into the kiln to be fused at a very high temperature overnight. We chose to go just past tack fuse temperature, so each piece would remain raised slightly.
Once the kiln has cooled enough to open the next day, each separate piece has fused to the base plate – very happy with the result.
